The short version
CompactStates.com is a public reference site operated by PGBDIC LLC (a Illinois limited liability company). You don’t need an account to use it, and we aim to collect as little personal information as possible.
Information we collect
- Newsletter email (optional): if you submit your email for compact-state updates, it is used only to send those updates. In this initial version, sign-ups may be stored locally in your browser until an email provider is connected.
- Basic analytics: we may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand which pages are useful. This does not identify you personally.
Advertising
This site may display advertising in the future. If and when ads are enabled, ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies subject to their own policies. We do not run pop-ups or intrusive ad formats. No ad scripts are loaded unless advertising is explicitly turned on.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell your personal information.
- We don’t require sign-in to read any content.
- We don’t collect your nursing license number to use the checker.
